Charter & Reservations Info
What are the prices and times for your charters?
Please contact us for latest prices. Times are available on our ( Chubasco Charter’s Fleet ) page and click on the boat of your choice.
What is included in the price of the charter?
Everything involved with the fishing (bait and tackle) is included. A cooler of ice and bottled water are also included. Food, snacks, soft drinks and beer are not included. You are welcome to bring your own or we can provide at a cost. For safety reasons, we request that all beer be in cans and not bottles
Can you arrange for food and beverages?
With advanced notice, we can put food, snacks and beer on board at a charge.
What do we need to bring on the Charter?
We ask that you bring the following for yourself and your party: Sun screen, lotion and chap stick. Food and beverages (if you have not arranged for us to have them on board for you). For safety reasons, we request that all beer be in cans and not bottles. Motion sickness remedies depending on sea conditions and your tolerance to motion (taken at least one hour before the trip). Shoes that you won’t mind getting wet or fish blood on and won’t slip on the deck (please no black soled shoes). A foul weather jacket depending on weather (wind breaker or water resistant jacket). Sun glasses and a hat (polarized glasses are recommended). Towels if you plan on snorkeling.

What species of fish are you catching?
Fish migrate through the Bahamas and it depends on the time of the year. Please visit our (Bahamas Fishing Calendar) page for what’s catching and when.
What months are best for Marlin fishing?
April, May, June
How long is the trip to the fishing grounds?
We are very fortunate in Nassau, the 1,000 ft.
I would like to go Bonefishing while vacationing in Nassau.
There is really no bonefishing available in Nassau. We suggest you fly to Andros Island or Eleuthera, those are the two nearest areas for good bonefishing
Can I have my trophy fish mounted?
Yes, we are agents for Gray Taxidermy, Inc., the worlds largest marine taxidermy company located in Pompano Beach, Florida
What do we do with the fish we catch?
It is very difficult to take fish back home. If you can get it frozen, you are allowed by Bahamas Fisheries Regulations to take 8 lbs. of fillets back home. Cruise Ship Regulations do not allow passengers to bring fish back on board. Some clients will have a local restaurant prepared it for dinner. Some will have us arrange for it to be mounted as
